Nyle Jones
Social Media Assistant
Nyle Jones is a Freshman in Jonathan Edwards College majoring in Cognitive Science with a focus on Art and Technology. He is from Miami, Florida and actively involved in music production, visual arts, film, and acapella. Inspired by his experience designing sustainable fashion in high school, he’s excited to explore the intersection of his multidisciplinary creative experience with sustainability.

Yevgeniya Regent
Videographer
Yevgeniya Regent is a sophomore in Branford College, double majoring in Film and Media Studies and Cognitive Science. On campus, she is actively involved in film and the performing arts, serving as Head of Production on The Cinemat Board, assistant director of the Yale Student Film Festival, and as a producer, director, and writer on numerous projects. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with her own recipes, as well as swimming and staying active.

Graphic Design Assistant
Aileen Santiago is a Sophomore in Trumbull College majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Architecture with a Portuguese Certificate. She is from Miami, Florida and is passionate about incorporating design in education to promote sustainable practices on campus. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading and going to the beach.

Miffy Wang is a sophomore in Timothy Dwight College majoring in Computing & the Arts and Statistics & Data Science. She is from Hong Kong and she has a passion for photography, design, and sustainability. She is excited to contribute and bring more environmental awareness to Yale.

Ellie Joseph is a first year in Davenport College. She is on the Yale softball team and undecided on her major. She is really excited to start her first year with Bulldog Sustainability and spread awareness about the importance of sustainability here at Yale and beyond.

George Duran is from San Francisco, California. George is a sophomore studying Global Affairs in Timothy Dwight college. He grew up playing and hiking outdoors and ever since then a passion for the environment and its conservation has developed within him. He looks forward to working with the community to create a more sustainable campus.

Allison Gilmeister
Graduate Coordinator
Allison Gilmeister holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Point Loma Nazarene University, and is now pursuing dual graduate degrees at Yale Divinity School and Yale School of the Environment. Her primary interests lie at the intersection of religion and ecology, specifically understanding how spirituality and faith can be avenues for environmental activism. In her free time, Allison enjoys hiking, running and drinking lots of coffee. She hopes to bring innovation and new ideas to Yale’s Office of Sustainability, and looks forward to supporting its passionate team of undergraduate students.

Tomas Gonzales
Communications Team Member
Tomas Gonzales is a freshman in Davenport College. At Yale, he plans to major in Environmental Studies (B.S), with certificates in both Climate Science & Solutions and Energy Studies. He is from Miami, Florida and he is passionate about environmental justice, climate activism, playing music with friends, and cooking. Tomas is excited to learn more about how to sustainably manage or oversee larger projects and implement sustainability at a corporate or societal level. At Yale, he plans to spread the importance of practicing sustainability and regain control over the future of the youth, as well as further explore environmental management.

Isabella Greubel

Isabella Greubel is a sophomore in Timothy Dwight College from New Hampshire. Passionate about the intersection between climate change and communication, she plans to major in Environmental Studies and East Asian Languages & Literatures. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, walking through the woods outside her house, and traveling and exploring as much as she can.

Bella Le
Green Community Team Member
Bella is a junior in Branford college double majoring in Environmental Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies. She is passionate about the intersections of environmentalism and social justice, specifically how the climate crisis is disproportionately affecting those most impacted by social injustice. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and hiking.

Sarah Ramos-Gonzalez
Green Community Team Member
Sarah L. Ramos-Gonzalez is a Yale sophomore double majoring in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration and Spanish, with a Hindi language certificate. Sarah is passionate about comprehensive and accessible legal representation informed by interdisciplinary decolonial scholarship. She is interested in expanding Yale College’s understanding of sustainability as a tangible lifestyle, while learning more about the Indigenous communities that have ancestrally practiced environmental sustainability and communal reciprocity. Sarah is excited to join this year’s Sustainability Peer Educator program!

Aria Wang

Aria Wang is a junior in Benjamin Franklin College. She was born and raised in Pasadena, California and is studying Applied Physics with a particular interest in alternative energy sources. She loves running, food, animals, books, movies, the list goes on. She’s excited to be a part of the Sustainability team as someone who grew up on Wild Kratts and David Attenborough!
