Lindsay Crum

Current Responsibilities: Lindsay oversees and manages the process of collecting and presenting campus sustainability metrics, which includes annual progress on the University’s sustainability goals; our annual greenhouse gas emissions inventory with The Climate Registry; our bi-annual sustainability survey; and our bi-annual submission to the Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System (STARS). Lindsay works on sustainable materials management initiatives, managing research on material flow analyses; managing a committee on plastics and plastics alternatives; and conducting a Pay-As-You-Throw pilot (the first of its kind at an American university). Her portfolio also includes Sustainability Action Planning for Yale Athletics, the Libraries, and Procurement. Lindsay is actively involved in the Ivy Plus Sustainability Consortium, having been Co-Chair of the Data Working Group for several years and recently elected to be the Executive Co-Chair.
