- 1.34-megawatt solar installation
- Generates 1.6 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.
- Offsets the equivalent of more than 16,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide over the life of the system
- Delivered an eight-fold increase in the university’s on-site renewable energy generation

Landscape Lab

Description: 136 acres on West Campus created to connect scholars from across Yale for sustainability-related research and learning
Did you know? The Landscape Lab is designed to provide a space for research, innovation, and collaboration across Yale and beyond
- Pioneer new ways of teaching within the health sciences by partnering with the School of Medicine and the School of Nursing
- Partners to catalyze the creation of businesses and products at scale on campus including the Yale Bee Space, the Wikihouse, and Poda Foods/Edible Cricket Company
- Supports the use of the campus as a living subject matter with approaches to sustainable food and agriculture, invasive species research, and experimental grassland initiatives
- Urban Farm is part of the Agroforestry Collaborative
