Collective action has the power to help mitigate climate change. Case in point: For the month of May, CTrides sponsored a “Drive Less CT Climate Challenge.” The results are in: participants who swapped driving alone for sustainable commutes elimated 26,866 car trips, prevented 374,390 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions, saved 19,102 gallons of gas, and saved $207,007.
