The City of New Haven has launched Solarize New Haven, a residential solar program that makes going solar easy and affordable. Solarize New Haven is part of Solarize Connecticut – the community-based solar initiative that has helped thousands of Connecticut residents reduce their carbon dioxide emissions and save money on energy bills by going solar. The Solarize New Haven discounted pricing is available to everyone who lives or works in New Haven.
The New Haven Energy Task Force and Yale Office of Sustainability, in partnership with Solarize New Haven, are holding a free workshop for those interested in learning about the Solarize model.
