Sustainability Strategic Plan

In 2009, Yale President Richard C. Levin invited a group of key leaders within the University to form a Sustainability Task Force. The Task Force was charged to develop a sustainability plan to advance the University's efforts over the next three years.

The resulting Sustainability Strategic Plan 2010-2013 developed by the Task Force deliberately focuses on campus systems, administrative systems, earth systems, education and engagement in an effort to strengthen the foundation of the University's sustainability commitment. Our success in accomplishing each goal depends upon leadership at the individual, unit, and institutional levels. We must work together and embrace each of the goals as a community effort, not solely a unit commitment.
