The Energy Solutions Fund is a $100,000 investment by Yale dedicated to student-inspired and proposed projects that improve sustainability on campus. The fund seeks innovative ideas that assist Yale in conserving energy, reducing energy costs, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting renewable technologies in all spaces. Successful projects will be collaborative efforts that also serve to educate and inform the Yale community on energy-saving results of the project.
Students are invited to attend an information session on Tuesday, October 14th, from 3:00- 4:00 pm in WLH 207 to learn more about the fund as well as Yale’s current energy profile and future energy reductions plans.
Project proposals are due on Tuesday, October 28 at 5:00 pm (EST) and will be judged on their environmental, social and educational benefit, feasibility, potential energy savings and return on investment.
