Earth Systems
Yale’s campuses including Central, Medical and West are all situated within a diverse set of ecological conditions. A sustainable campus must take into account our greenhouse gas emissions, the consumption and discharge of water and the design and management of the campus landscape to decrease our impact upon earth’s systems locally and globally. The Yale Sustainability Strategic Plan calls for the development of an ecosystem management plan that integrates a water use and land management plan.
