Campus as a Living Lab

The Office of Sustainability encourages the use of Yale University and the City of New Haven as living laboratories for multidisciplinary sustainability research in addressing issues related to ecological, human health and socio-economic impacts. By working with faculty, researchers, and staff from around campus, our office fosters applied academic integration throughout the university – simultaneously helping to educate Yale’s students and engaging in the development and analysis of innovative approaches to diminishing the University’s environmental impact.
